An ultrasonic transducer is a piezoelectric ceramic that resonates at the operating frequency of ultrasound waves, converting electronic signals into mechanical vibrations through the piezoelectric effect of raw materials. An ultrasonic transducer is an energy converter device whose basic function is to convert input electrical power into mechanical power (i.e., ultrasound waves) and propagate it out, while consuming a small portion of the output power itself.
Types of ultrasonic transducers: They can be divided into piezoelectric transducers, sandwich transducers, column transducers, inverted horn transducers, and so on.
Ultrasonic transducers are generally divided into frequencies of 15K and 20K. The horn head portion of a 15K transducer is hexagonal, while the horn head portion of a 20K transducer is cylindrical.
